- The scale model is sold exclusively in the same launch color as the Utopia.
- Assembly requires over 30 hours and includes 556 pieces and 200 screws.
- The model sells for about $1,200, much cheaper than the $2 million real car.
Pagani is building just 99 examples of the Utopia Coupe, and each one will cost over $2 million. However, for the vast majority of us who will never have the chance to own a real Utopia, an Italian manufacturer of model cars has released a 1:8 scale version of the hypercar. Made up of 556 pieces and priced at £879.99 or about $1,200, it’s much cheaper than a real Pagani, although admittedly expensive for a scale model.

To make this model a reality, Pocher partnered directly with Pagani. It is sold exclusively in Rinascimento Lucido, which is the Utopia’s resplendent launch color. Unlike other exotic scale models, anyone who buys the Pocher Pagani has to build it from scratch.

According to the company, it takes more than 30 hours to assemble the model. In addition to having over 556 parts, it includes more than 200 screws and comes with a 138-page instruction manual. If you’re looking for a productive way to enjoy your summer evenings while sipping on a red wine, assembling this Utopia could be a good option.
The finished product includes fully functional doors, suspension, and steering systems. The model also has a cabin that perfectly mimics the real Utopia, complete with red seats and matching accents across the dashboard. The 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged AMG V12 has also been miniaturized and bolts into the car’s chassis. It even has the same exhaust system as the road-going Pagani.
Admittedly, spending $1,200 on a scale model is a lot for most people. For those on a smaller budget, Lego Champions sells a model of the Utopia made up of 249 pieces for just $32.99.
Of course, $1,200 is still a steep price for a scale model. For those after a more budget-friendly version, Lego Champions offers a 249-piece Utopia kit for just $32.99. It may not come with working suspension or 200 screws, but it’ll still look decent on a shelf and you won’t need a weekend (or three) to put it together.
