Dubai’s New Police SUV Is A Mansory Rolls-Royce, Because Money

  • Dubai Police adds a Mansory-modified Rolls-Royce Cullinan with 610 hp for tourist duty.
  • The luxury SUV sports forged carbon fiber parts and a new aggressive front bumper.
  • Mansory’s customizations to the Cullinan include special wheels and flared wheel arches.

The high-end cars used by the Dubai Police Force have achieved near-mythical status online, and they’ve just upped the ante with yet another extravagant addition to their fleet. While the Dubai Police are often associated with their fleet of supercars, their latest toy is something a bit more… refined. This time, it’s a heavily modified Rolls-Royce Cullinan from the infamous minds at Mansory tuning.

Sure, policing is a tough gig, but we can’t help feeling just a little bit jealous of the officers who’ll get to patrol in this luxury SUV all day. It’s not every day you see an officer cruising around in the world’s most opulent SUV, especially when the standard issue for most of us is a Ford Explorer.

The authorities in Dubai unveiled their Cullinan at an event held at Dubai World Trade Centre, attended by several police officials from across the wealthy city. There’s no word on what sort of day-to-day duties the Rolls-Royce will face, but it likely won’t be used to chase down criminals. In a statement, the police said it’ll strengthen the force’s presence across key tourist destinations, including the Burj Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard.

Dubai’s New Police SUV Is A Mansory Rolls-Royce, Because Money

Like other cars used by Dubai Police, the Cullinan sports a white and dark green exterior finish. It’s also the second Mansory-tuned vehicle the authorities have picked up the keys to, having previously added a Mercedes-Benz G63 tweaked by the infamous German tuner.

The complete list of modifications made to this Cullinan hasn’t been confirmed, but we can see it features a new front bumper with a splitter made from forged carbon fiber. It also rocks front quarter panels and sits on a set of special wheels backed up by flared wheel arches.

As for the 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 under the hood, it’s been given a little boost, cranking out 610 hp, up from 563, just in case you need to outrun an Audi R8 or, you know, impress tourists.

In the end, it’s pretty obvious that the Dubai Police are more into flexing than actually catching criminal, and honestly, who could blame them? This Cullinan is just the latest in their ever-growing fleet of cars that show they take their “law enforcement” image very seriously.
