No, this isn’t some weird mascot for a sports team or an abstract piece of art. What you’re looking at is a wild motorcycle concept built by none other than Honda. Presented over the weekend during MotoGP’s Japanese Grand Prix at the Motegi circuit, the Honda Koraidon is inspired by a legendary Pokémon and remarkably, it actually works. We’ve never seen a motorcycle quite like it before.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]}; The massive motorbike was built in close collaboration with The Pokémon Company and has been labelled as an “almost life-size reproduction” of the character from Pokémon Scarlet. Obviously, the Koraidon usually walks around on its hind legs, rather than on a pair of massive wheels, but for the most part, this bike does an excellent job of replicating the original.
