It’s a tale as old as time. Dollars don’t always equal sense<\/a>. That’s what we seem to see in a newly released video of a Shelby<\/a> GT500 driver trying to leave a Cars and Coffee event. Technically, they do leave, but they don’t get very far. What’s worse, though, is that it appears as though the owner has had the car for just a couple of months.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tvar adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]}; Shot at the tail end of a meet-up in Colorado on June 8, we see the GT500 preparing to leave in smoky glory. As it revs up, we hear a person, maybe a prophet of some sort, say, “Oh, you better drive that right.” The car takes off, gets just a bit of smoke out of the tires, and then seems to bounce off the rev limiter for a good second or two.<\/p>\n
