However, tests have shown the 296 is basically just as quick as the SF90 in a straight line, despite having less power and a much cheaper price. It has also been optioned with the $41,956 Assetto Fiorano package, which adds carbon fiber door panels, Multimatic shocks, carbon fiber front splitters, a Lexan rear window, and an active spoiler.<\/p>\n<p>The options list doesn&rsquo;t stop there. This 296 also features an $11,812 carbon fiber rear diffuser, $8,606 worth of carbon under the doors, $5,062 in carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, and a $5,062 carbon steering wheel with integrated shift lights. According to the window sticker, it also carries $81,754 worth of additional options. It has also been equipped with ceramic tint and sits on Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires.<\/p>\n<p><strong>From Half a Million to Deep Discount<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Altogether, this car left the Ferrari factory with a total sticker price of $525,227, up from a base MSRP of $333,255. That&rsquo;s nearly $200,000 in options alone. And yet, after covering just under 1,500 miles, the original owner decided to <a href=\"https:\/\/bringatrailer.com\/listing\/2024-ferrari-296-gtb-5\/\">let it go<\/a> via Bring a Trailer. The final sale price? $384,000.
