Class A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/rv\/\">RV<\/a>s tend to be built on commercial truck or bus chassis and fitted with massive diesel engines to haul you and your condo&rsquo;s worth of furniture and white goods along &ndash; this 38RB has a gross vehicle weight of 32,000 lbs (14,500 kg).<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/02\/home-made-cadillac-rv-is-a-one-off-passion-project\/\">A Boeing Engineer Created This Bizarre Cadillac RV<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Class A RVs like this are palatial compared with converted Transit-size Class B machines, or even the Class C types that are commonly seen in Europe, because the As are just too damn big. And too expensive for most people&rsquo;s tastes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Price Tag Fit for a King (or Queen)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thor&rsquo;s website says builds start at a staggering $367,500, but even at $260,000, the price of this 2024 model at <em>Leo&rsquo;s<\/em> Vacation Center in Maryland, you have to be seriously wealthy to afford one. Not that it&rsquo;s the most expensive RV we&rsquo;ve come across. The decor is very bland, but it&rsquo;s probably perfect for the rich, older Americans who we imagine buy these things.<\/p>\n<p>I did get to stay in something like this once a few years back when Jaguar invited me and my family to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/goodwood\/\">Goodwood<\/a> Festival of Speed, but I didn&rsquo;t get to drive it.
