Starting outside, the concept sports a two-tone exterior that doesn’t raise any eyebrows. However, it’s been equipped with a handful of accessories including crossbars and a Thule bike carrier.
Bigger changes occur inside as an EGOE Nestboard 650 has been installed in the cargo area. It unfolds to reveal a double mattress that can accommodate two adults. When it comes time to doze off, you can install the rear window privacy screens and close a retractable blind that resides behind the front seats.
Besides a bed, the Nestboard 650 has a drawer that opens to reveal a stove and a collapsible sink. There’s also storage compartments for equipment such as plates and utensils.
Rounding out the highlights are rubber floor mats, pull-out side tables, and ‘tech pods.’ The latter appear to combine LED reading lights with USB charging ports.
The Dream Pod concept is based on the CR-V e:PHEV, which features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, a 17.7 kWh battery pack, and an electric motor. This setup enables the model to have an electric-only range of 49 miles (79 km).
